How to Play

Once players are locked into the escape room they will be presented with a set of challenges, puzzles, clues and brain teasers that they must overcome before the time runs out.

Can you escape the Lock-Clock in 60 minutes?

WHO CAN PLAY

The escape games can be played by anyone interested in testing their problem solving skills as part of a team, whilst discovering a new and unique experience in a live environment:

  • Friends
  • Families (we recommend children under 16 years to be accompanied by an adult)
  • Students
  • Businesses (excellent team bonding opportunities)
  • Tourists and travellers
  • Unknown groups (meet new people in a dynamic environment)

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?

Each live escape game is designed to be played by a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 5 players. Due to space within the rooms and the nature of the puzzles we do not suggest any more than five players.

ARRIVAL TIME

It is important to arrive approximately 15 minutes before the start of your game time. When you arrive we will need to check your reservation, securely store your coats, belongings and valuables, quickly explain the rules and then explain the story behind the escape room game you are about to play. In the event that you arrive late, that time will be deducted from your game time. If you arrive 20 minutes or later, you will not be allowed to play.

IS LOCK-CLOCK A PHYSICAL ACTIVITY?

The live escape games in Lock-Clock are designed to test your logic and critical thinking. Lock-Clock is not a test of physical strength or dexterity! At no point will you need to use physical force. Therefore, it is not necessary to climb up or stand on top of any of the furniture. Whilst there may be clues that are above head height it is not necessary to physically touch these clues, they will only need to be used visually. Whilst in the escape room please do not stand on or climb up any of the furniture or scenery within the room!

CAMERAS & AUDIO

Whilst in the escape game you will be monitored by one of our operators using cameras and audio equipment. We monitor the escape rooms to ensure the safety of our customers and also to enrich their experience. During the live escape games, we may communicate with your team through the audio equipment.

LEAVING THE ROOM

Whilst playing there will always be a member of staff monitoring the escape room. If for any reason, you or a member of your team needs to leave the game room at any time then you can do so by raising our attention on the cameras or via the audio. Please note that once a player has left the game room they will not be allowed to re-enter.

KEEP THE SECRETS, A SECRET!

Please do not share or divulge information about the nature of the puzzles and clues within the game rooms. We want people to be able to experience the best possible game that they can so therefore please do not reveal the secrets of the escape rooms.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS

It is strictly prohibited to take photos, videos or recordings of any form whilst in the game rooms.
